Competitive teacher wages are dismally low in Colorado. Our students and teachers deserve a lot better. One is not required to have children to know that education is vital to the success and prosperity of our state. Schools should be thinking about the future economy and the future of work. Many students don’t want to go to college and those pathways should be available for these career paths.
